Jimmy Buffett Inspired Harrison Ford To Get His Ear Pierced

Harrison Ford has an ear piercing, and it’s all thanks to Jimmy Buffet!

During the recent tribute concert to Jimmy, Harrison shared that it was because of Jimmy’s “infectious” coolness.

“I remember one day that a long, some might say boozy, lunch with Jimmy and Ed Bradley, and it was Bradley’s birthday. I saw both of them had earrings. So right after lunch, I got my ear pierced. [His] ear pierced. And infectious enough to create an entire culture around his music . . . There will never be another like Jimmy.”

Harrison got his ear pierced in 1997, so he was 55, not 40.

At the show, Eric Church led a star-studded performance of “Margaritaville”, that included Sheryl Crow, Paul McCartney, and the Eagles.
