8 Years Ago Today: The “Almost No-Hitter” For The Blue Jays

It was August 8, 2010 when the Tampa Bay Rays came to Toronto and nearly became a part of Blue Jays history. Brandon Morrow took the mound for the Jays that evening and pitched the best game of his career. He tossed 17 strikeouts and almost pitched a no-hitter, something that only one player in Jays history (Dave Stieb) had ever done.

With 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th, heartbreak would happen for Morrow and the Jays:
