Entertainment from 4:00-dusk with Canada Day Idol Contest, fireworks at dusk at Esli Dodge Conservation Area

Enjoy day-long activities starting at 11am through to 10:30pm. Featuring a children’s giant colouring mural, live music with a headliner band and fireworks at 10pm.


Lots of activities throughout the day, majority of events are held at Bridgeview Park. Rock the Park, Fishing Derby, Lambton Central Petrolia Optimist Events, Bouncy Castles, Fireworks at dusk.

Parade: 11:30 a.m. (Lakeshore/Colborne) Ending in Canatara Park

Canatara Park Daytime Festivities: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Opening Ceremonies: 1:30 p.m.

Sarnia Waterfront & Bayshore Parking Lot – Evening Entertainment, Activities and Fireworks

The 2015 theme will be Sarnia 100.  The Annual Parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. and run from Lakeshore/Colborne ending in Canatara Park.  Festivities include Multi-Cultural Entertainment, Ethnic Food Booths, Arts & Crafts, Inflatables, demonstrations, Face Painting and Train Rides and will run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. throughout Canatara Park.  Opening Ceremonies will take place at 1:30 p.m. in the Canatara Park Bandshell.

Beginning at 4:00 p.m., Entertainment and Activities will then move to the Sarnia Waterfront and Bayshore Parking lot and capped off by the Canada Day Fireworks display at dusk.  Fireworks will be set off from the Sarnia Point Lands.  Four local bands are set to perform prior to the Fireworks.

Art/Craft, Concession’s, Parade/Band Applicants can complete the Application Forms available for download below.  All completed forms can be returned to the Parks & Recreation Office, 3rd Floor, Sarnia City Hall.  Attention  Ryan Chamney  [email protected]
