Most people are going to have a different Halloween experience this year.

But Justin Moore said for him, his wife, and their four kids, it will be the same.

“Where we’re from, it’s not the typical Halloween that most kids [have] We don’t live in a neighbourhood. We drive ’em to the people who we know, like my aunts and uncles and my parents and, you know, our family, our pastor. Usually we have a church hayride, so it probably won’t change much for us. We’re kind of in our own little bubble in a sense in our town, and really the surrounding communities. So, I have a hard time believing Halloween for us will change that much but I feel for those out there who it will, especially the kiddos.”

Justin and his family live in Poyen, Arkansas, which has a population of 290.

Meanwhile, Justin has made no secret of his hatred for Halloween, dating back to his childhood.

Obviously, now that he’s a father of four young kids, skipping Halloween is not an option.

And it’s not just his kids, Justin said his wife is a big fan, too.

“It’s Kate’s favourite holiday. So we go straight from ridiculous Halloween stuff everywhere to ridiculous Thanksgiving stuff everywhere to ridiculous Christmas stuff everywhere. It’s never-ending. I like the Christmas stuff I just, the Halloween stuff I don’t care for.”
