Brett Young has announced his headlining The Weekends Tour.

The 33-city trek features special guests Maddie & Tae and Filmore with Ryan Hurd and Matt Ferranti on select shows.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, June 4th at 10 a.m. local time at brettyoungmusic.com. The tour includes a stop in Detroit at the Masonic Temple on Saturday, November 6th.

Brett will release his new album, Weekends Look A Little Different These Days, on Friday, June 4th.

“Announcing a headlining tour and preparing to release new music both in the same week truly feels like a dream and something I won’t ever take for granted. It’s emotional thinking about reuniting not only with my band and crew after so much time apart, but with the FANS! I can’t wait to make up for lost time and finally get to perform these new ones we’ve been working on.”

While Brett has played a few shows since the world started opening back up, he has yet to play any of the new music in concert.

“Nobody has heard the new songs live yet and they won’t until the album comes out, which is . . . there’s something to be said for that because by the time we start playing them for people they’ll have the record, they’ll know the songs, and we already know the songs from the new record that we’re gonna work up for the new set. We’re working on building the new live show now. That’s one of the things we’re most excited about because we love this record so much.”

The new single from Brett’s Weekends Look A Little Different These Days album is called “Not Yet.”
