Jimmie Allen Is Lost When It Comes To Ballroom Dancing
Jimmie Allen heads into week two of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars on Monday, September 27th dancing the Rumba with his pro partner Emma Slater.
They will be dancing to Jimmie’s hit song “Make Me Want To.”
While Jimmie considers himself a decent dancer, he said he has zero experience with ballroom dancing.
“When it comes to ballroom dancing, none! (laughs) I have no idea what I’m doing, but I did musical theater, but it’s a completely different style. I realized that the first day of rehearsals. I was like, ‘Goodness! What am I doing out here?’ And then the what do you call them? Dancing shoes or church shoes with bottoms? I don’t know what you call them. Yeah! No dancing experience when it comes to this.”
Tonight’s DWTS will also feature the first elimination of the season. The show airs live at 8 p.m.
