Thomas Rhett Wants Eric Church On His Next Album
Thomas Rhett spent a lot of time during the pandemic writing music.
That’s how we got the album “Country Again, Side A”, which came out in April, but when is “Side B” going to drop?
“We’re getting close. I thought it would be sooner, but I kept writing songs and recording them, and the label finally said, ‘You need to be finished’ and that’s all I needed to know. So we’re getting close [and] will announce when it’s coming.”
He said it’ll have three or four collaborations, but he’s keeping the names close to the vest until the tracklist is announced.
But Thomas did write a song with Eric Church called “Salt”.
“We’ve been talking and texting about revisiting that song. He was down [with] . . . and it’s my dream to do a collaboration with Eric, so maybe one of these days in the near future we’ll make that happen.”
