Trace Adkins Doesn’t Get To Shoot Anyone On New TV Show
Trace Adkins is set to start in a new television series on Fox called “Monarch”, and he said things are a little different this time around.
“I pull a gun in this, but I don’t actually shoot anybody. I think that may be a first for me in a Western. I have shot people in every one, I think.”
Trace has a leading role as the “reigning king of country music” and the star of a show usually doesn’t die, and that’s also the case here.
“I didn’t get killed in this one either, which is unusual. I’ve been getting killed in every movie I do for the last couple of years, but they didn’t kill me in this one.”
“Monarch” also stars Susan Sarandon as Trace’s wife.
It premieres on January 30th on Fox after the NFC championship game.
