Miranda Lambert Launches Annual Campaign For Animal Shelters
Miranda Lambert has announced her annual Share The Love campaign, which gives back to animal shelters.
Twenty lucky shelters will each receive a $1,000 from her non-profit, MuttNation.
The grant goes to randomly selected individuals who have supported their local shelter by volunteering, fostering or adopting a shelter pet in the past year.
“I always tell people who want to help, that volunteering, fostering, and adopting are so important to every shelter. Even if you’re not in a position to adopt, maybe you have time to foster or volunteer. It all makes such a big difference.”
In other Miranda news, she’s nominated for 2 Grammy Awards. Best Country Album for The Marfa Tapes with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Drunk And I Don’t Wanna Go Home” with Elle King.
