Miranda Lambert Tried To Find Her “Inner Zen” During Lockdown
Miranda Lambert was forced to look at the world differently during the COVID-19 lockdown.
She talked about it recently in an interview with Rolling Stone.
“It taught a lot of us that have been on the grind for 20 years that like, ‘Oh, there’s life out there? What do you mean, NOT working?’ “It’s been a lesson of forced balance. Like, ‘Alright, my tour is cancelled, so now I’m going to paint.’ Or, my husband’s going to make bread and I’ll sit and watch. It brought things back to super simple and [I] never had that in my adult life.”
And she’s taking that attitude on the Bandwagon Tour with Little Big Town, which launches in April. Omicron or not.
“There will be constant changes. Because we’re in control of nothing. For people who are planners like me, I have to really find my inner Zen.”
