Taylor Swift Passes Shania Twain For Billboard Record
Taylor Swift’s albums have now spent 99 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, and that’s the most in history.
She passed Shania Twain, whose albums have spent 97 weeks at the top of that chart.
And Shania, being the class act she is, gave due props. She reTweeted a Taylor Swift fan post about the new record.
Without getting too deep in the woods, the reason this happened now is because Taylor came BACK to the country charts with her re-recordings of “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” and “Red (Taylor’s Version)”.
Taylor’s “1989”, “Reputation”, “Lover”, and “Folklore”, and “Evermore” are considered pop albums.
