Blake Shelton Sings With Kid Awaiting Heart Transplant
Blake Shelton did a very good thing at his concert on Saturday in Oklahoma.
He brought a six-year-old heart patient named Wyatt on stage to help him sing “God’s Country”.
Wyatt was carrying a hand-written note, so Blake knelt down on the stage next to him, and read it out loud to the audience.
“Your smallest, biggest fan from Lake Texoma. Six years old waiting on a [heart] transplant.” Blake paused at that point, and told the crowd, quote, “Think y’all are having a bad day, put that into perspective right there, man.”
Blake joked around a little more, and then they did the song.
Wyatt’s mom posted a clip of it on social media, and wrote,
“I don’t know if Blake will ever see this, but I want to let him know he is awesome and officially my favourite person.”
