Alan Jackson’s Bar Pays Tribute To Fan
A lady in Maine named Mary Ann Gallant passed away last year at 80 and was an Alan Jackson super-fan.
She went to dozens of concerts, had two personalized license plates that referenced him, and had his face tattooed on her back.
Her daughter went to Nashville this month because Mary asked that her ashes be spread outside Alan’s HOME.
The daughter ultimately decided NOT to do it, but while she was in town, she stopped by Alan’s club, AJ’s Good Time Bar.
The staff knew who Mary was because of a recent story, and they told her daughter she’ll eat free any time she stops in.
They also let her leave a memento behind.
Mary’s favourite car was a 1965 Mustang, so now they’ve got a model of one on display at the bar, with Mary sitting behind the wheel.
By the way, Alan knows who Mary is too.
He noticed her tattoo at a concert in Portland, Maine in 2015, so he brought her up on stage, and they danced to his song “Remember When”.
