Jason Aldean Marks Anniversary Of Vegas Shooting
Saturday, October 1st marked the five-year anniversary of the mass shootings at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, where Jason Aldean was on stage at the time.
He posted this weekend about it and wrote, “5 years later and it’s still a rough day.”
Along with his words of remembrance, he shared a photo of those who were on hand at the festival with him when the shootings took place.
On that day in 2017, a lone gunman killed 58 people when he opened fire from his room at the Mandalay Bay hotel, just across the street from the festival. Hundreds more were wounded, and two more people later died of their injuries.
The mass shooting is the subject of a new four-part documentary series on Paramount+. It’s titled, 11 Minutes.
