Kelly Clarkson Was “Inebriated” While Recording “You’re Drunk, Go Home”
Kelly Clarkson had never been drunk while recording music… that is until she went into the studio to do her part on the Kelsea Ballerini song, “You’re Drunk, Go Home”.
She talked about it on her talk show on Friday, September 30th.
Kelsea Ballerini was the guest, and Kelly told her the story of how she was “celebrating” her last day of work and didn’t know about the recording session.
“I get in the studio and said, ‘Look, I didn’t know I was going to be singing today. So I had to sing a song called ‘You’re Drunk, Go Home’, inebriated.”
It sounded like a fun session, though. She said there’s an outtake of her, “crying and laughing so hard I almost peed my pants.”
Meanwhile, Carly Pearce joined Kelsea to help her perform “You’re Drunk, Go Home” at Kelsea’s show on Saturday in Chicago.
