Nominees were announced on Friday, November 10 for the 66th Annual Grammy Awards and Brothers Osborne went into the weekend with nods in two categories.

Their self-titled collection is up for Best Country Album. And their single, “Nobody’s Nobody” landed them in the running for Best Country Duo/ Group Performance.

After winning Vocal Duo at the CMA Awards last week, we asked the brothers what being nominated means to them.

“We’ve had a great moment these last several years, but we’ve still spent the vast majority of our lives in actual obscurity. We were here (in Nashville) for well over a decade before we ever got signed to a record deal. So, you really try to relish these moments that happen because some people are like, ‘Oh yeah, you did it again.’ It’s like, no, this is our moment, this is our year, because at some point, it will pass, you know, and you’ve got to relish it. There will be a time when we aren’t even nominated. There will be a time when we can’t even get in the damn building, and we’ll look back and wished we would have relished it more. So, I definitely don’t want to miss any of this.”

For their self-titled release, Miranda Lambert provides the LP’s sole guest vocals on “We Ain’t Good at Breaking Up.”

The brothers co-wrote every song on the album.
