Jelly Roll Believes In God, And Therapy
Jelly Roll was a guest on a recent episode of “The Daily Show” and was asked how he turned his life around from convicted felon to country star.
“[By] doing the work. I go to therapy, and I take it very serious. And my relationship with God. I’m an old school southern man and I’m rooted in my faith, and my belief, and more than anything, my search for purpose.”
He also learned the importance of helping others.
“I quit searching to be happy and I started searching to be useful. That’s when everything changed for me. I want to be a man of service, I want to help people, I want to lead people in the right direction. [That] what’s important.”
The interview was with “Daily Show” guest host Charlamagne Tha God.
