Reba Celebrates Anniversary Of Broadway Debut
Reba McEntire is celebrating 23 years since her Broadway debut.
She starred in “Annie Get Your Gun” for a few months in 2001.
In a throwback Instagram post, she said, quote,
“I never got tired of singing beautiful songs like these, and I’ll always be grateful I had the chance to play Annie Oakley.” (American Songwriter)
Meanwhile, Reba is heading back to television.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, she’ll star in an untitled comedy that has earned a pilot order at the network.
The multi-camera show will reunite McEntire with former Reba showrunner Kevin Abbot, who will serve as a writer.
The series will feature McEntire, who discovers she has a half-sister after her father dies and leaves his restaurant to them both.
