Chris Stapleton’s Wife Tried To Mess With His Head Before Last Year’s Super Bowl
The Super Bowl is coming up next weekend, and that reminded us how awesome Chris Stapleton’s anthem was last year.
But Chris recently revealed that his wife Morgane messed with him for weeks before the performance.
“My wife was messing with me. There’s all these ideas of people messing up so she would find the people messing up the most and she would send me those.I was like, ‘Please don’t send me this because I’m going to get that in my head.’”
Meanwhile, CBS Sports just put out a list of the best Super Bowl anthems and Chris didn’t even crack the top ten?
Only two country stars made the list, Faith Hill in 2000 at #10, and Carrie Underwood in 2010 at #6.
