T-Pain Has Written Country Songs, But You Won’t Find His Name In The Credits
When you think of country music, the name T-Pain doesn’t usually come to mind.
But he’s a fan, and he’s even written country songs for other artists.
He’s made MILLIONS doing it, but you won’t see his name in the credits.
“Country and gospel music, that’s where all of my harmonies come from. I wrote a lot of country songs and stopped taking credit for it. Because as cool as it is to see your name in those credits . . . the racism that comes after it is just like, ‘I’ll just take the check.'”
