“Kiss An Angel Good Mornin,’” a song made famous by the late Charley Pride, will be inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Written by Ben Peters and released in 1972, it became a signature song for the Opry member.

The song was a hit on Pop, Adult Contemporary, Top 40, and Country radio.

10 recordings will go into the Grammy Hall Of Fame this year, including the Doobie Brothers’ “What A Fool Believes,” and the Guns N’ Roses album, Appetite For Destruction.

The recordings will be honoured at the Grammy Museum’s Hall Of Fame Gala on May 21st in Los Angeles.
