George Strait To Receive CMA Lifetime Achievement Award
It was just announced that George Strait will receive the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the CMA Awards on Wednesday, November 20.
Throughout George’s career, he’s had 17 CMA wins, 83 CMA nominations (the most ever), 60 #1 singles, and over 70 million albums sold.
It’s safe to say that George is deserving of a Lifetime Achievement award.
The award was first given out in 2012 to Willie Nelson, which is why it’s named after him, and the award is NOT given out every year.
