What Does Thomas Rhett’s Wife Think About All The Songs He Writes About Her
Thomas Rhett recently released his new album, About A Woman, featuring his latest single, “Beautiful As You.”
The title stems from the fact that all the songs on the album were in some way inspired by his wife, Lauren.
But Thomas has written songs about Lauren throughout his career, so at this point is she still affected by them, or is she jaded by those types of songs, and what do his four daughters, who are 8, 7, 4 and 2 years old, think of dad’s new album and all the songs he wrote about their mom?
“I think jaded is the wrong word, but she is some form of jaded at this point, and I don’t blame her. Because I feel like anytime I go on a writing trip, period, there’s always at least one or two in there that were stemmed from some memory that I have. And my kids, they could care less about those kinda songs. My kids just want to dance and so ‘Fool’ is Willa Gray’s favorite song, ‘Gone Country’ is AJ’s favorite song, ‘Back to Blue’ is Lennon’s favorite song, and Lily just likes them all because she’s two and I’m her dad.”
