ACM Awards To Honour Brooks & Dunn
The Academy of Country Music just announced they’ll be honouring Brooks & Dunn during the “Play Something Country” gala the night before the ACM Awards take place.
The celebration of Brooks & Dunn goes down on May 7th, at The Star in Frisco, Texas, and the 60th annual ACM Awards will take place there the next night.
There will be a silent auction with all proceeds benefitting ACM Lifting Lives, which focuses on mental health initiatives in the country music industry.
There will also be performances by Eric Church, Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, Keith Urban, and Lainey Wilson.
They’ll all be doing renditions of Brooks & Dunn’s biggest hits.
And then, the following night, they’re nominated for Duo of the Year at the ACM Awards again. They’ve already won Duo of the Year 16 times.
