Why Jelly Roll Missed The Grand Ole Opry 100 Celebration
The Grand Ole Opry’s 100th celebration went down last month, and it was full of awesome performances from a wide variety of country stars.
But there was one person’s absence that was definitely felt… Jelly Roll.
Apparently, he was supposed to perform with Ashley McBryde to sing “Jackson,” but he was replaced at the last minute by Post Malone.
“I have cancelled one show in the last five years because of an ailment, and it was the “Grand Ole Opry: 100″. It broke my heart, man. I just could not break this fever.”
He said he was especially bummed because he’s been so focused on his health lately, and he prides himself on being able to work sick, but this one knocked him out.
