Willie Nelson Teams Up With Steve Perry On “Faithfully”
Willie Nelson and Steve Perry have teamed up for a rendition of Journey’s famous song from 1983, “Faithfully”.
Proceeds from the song benefit Farm Aid, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
Here’s what Steve Perry said about the process,
“No one has a voice or vocal phrasing anything like Willie Nelson . . . Singing this duet with Willie has been something I’ve always wanted to do. I’ll never forgot what it was like hearing his voice on the radio growing up and [then] meeting him. It was very iconic for me. I mean, he has become the Sinatra of country music.”
