Rascal Flatts On Their Perfect Summer Day
For most of their career, Rascal Flatts spent a lot of their summers on the road touring and away from their families.
But now they’re in a different stage of their career, where they don’t have to be away all the time during the summer months.
For Jay DeMarcus, his perfect summer day would be spent time outside with his kids.
“Being able to just spend it with my kids and watching them soak up every moment by the pool and happy, I mean, that’s the best you can hope for. And we haven’t gotten to do that a whole bunch because we spent most of our adult lives on the road. So, to be able to sit back and watch that and enjoy that and be with them in that moment is the best summer day I can think of.”
And Gary LeVox said he wants to be outside on his farm.
“My perfect summer day is kind of like what we’ve been doing. Out at my farm with the girls and the fish, riding four-wheelers and razors and do all that, you know, and then jump on my boat and we hit the Tennessee River.”
