Vince Gill Celebrates His Five-Decade Career With Monthly EP Series
Vince Gill is marking his 50-year career milestone with a year-long project featuring monthly EP releases called 50 Years From Home.
The series includes October’s I Gave You Everything I Had, November’s Secondhand Smoke, and January’s Brown’s Diner Bar.
Each EP combines new songs with classic hits from Gill’s catalog, with the country legend collaborating with ERNEST, Jake Worthington, Wade Bowen, and Waylon Payne on recent tracks.
“The fact that I’m 68 and don’t know how many more chances I’m going to get to be creative… it’s just me trying to be creative as long as I can.”
He composed around 150 songs for the project after signing with Jody Williams Songs in 2021.
Upcoming releases will feature a collaboration with Lainey Wilson alongside traditional country material.
Gill received the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award in November and will receive the 2026 Ken Burns American Heritage Prize on May 6th.
