Fan Mistook Eric Church For Luke Bryan At Atlanta Bar
Eric Church shared an amusing mix-up during his recent concert at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
The country star told the crowd about visiting Wild Bill’s bar, where fans approached him, discussing songs they thought he had performed.
Church realized all the songs they mentioned actually belonged to Luke Bryan. Rather than correct the confused fans, Church decided to play along with the mistaken identity.
“So I didn’t tell ’em that I wasn’t Luke Bryan. I love Luke. But if you’re here tonight, we’re not gonna do ‘Country Girl Shake It For Me.’ Well, we could.”
The incident highlights the friendship between the two country stars.
Last year, Church stepped in to perform at festivals when Bryan had to cancel shows due to an illness that affected his voice.
Bryan thanked Church for the last-minute assistance, praising his performance.
