Reba McEntire Honours Voice Contestant Dylan Carter After Fatal Car Accident
Dylan Carter, a 24-year-old singer from Season 24 of The Voice, died in a single-car accident Saturday in South Carolina.
Carter competed on Team Reba during the singing competition.
Reba McEntire honoured him on Instagram Stories.
“We will miss Dylan so much. He was a brilliant, kind and talented young man who brought a huge ray of sunshine to The Voice. Rest in peace, my dear friend.”
Carter co-founded The Local Voice, a breast cancer charity, which posted a tribute calling him “the heart of what we do” and noting “he believed every voice matters and lived that every day.”
The charity found comfort knowing “he is in heaven with his mother” and vowed to “carry his light forward and continue this mission in his honor.”
