You’re sitting around the campfire with friends and family, the stars are out,
and with about 10 minutes to spare before the International Space Station
flies overhead and a bright spot of light across the milky way, you gather the kids
|around. “Want to see the Earth, right now from SPACE?”.
Well of course they do!
So, you tap a link, and there it is, our blue planet, growing dim as the space-station
swoops around it’s orbit into the night sky.. towards where you are now.
You watch from orbit as the sun sets dramatically behind the Earth.

the Great Lakes, cast in a parabolic shadow of night… that’s you.
You set the tablet down, and point at the Northwest sky, about 1/3 of the way up from
