Your Hand Sanitizer Won’t Spontaneously Combust In Your Vehicle
You may have seen the myth that Hand Sanitizer could explode if left in a hot car floating around on social media, so I thought I would check with a local expert. I spoke with Mike Otis, Fire Life Safety Educator for the City of Sarnia and he confirmed that it will not combust in your car, it would need something (like a flame) to ignite it.
